Fall/Winter 2016-17 Fashion Trends

If you feel confused about what to buy for the coming season...you are not alone!

Who doesn't love Summer? While it always flies by so fast and we think we are not ready for Fall, a lot of us start thinking, maybe just a little bit, about that excitement the season brings: New colors. New Styles. They call them the Fall/Winter 2016-17 Trends but it is almost impossible to really figure out what they are or how to wear them.

As a Color and Style Consultant, my job is somewhat easier because, once my clients have had a Personal Color Analysis and a Personal Image Analysis, I know what will be the most flattering on them, regardless of the trends (I then create a virtual closet for the client with buy suggestions and a Look book with items they already own and items that they buy). Sometimes the trends work and sometimes they can be tweaked and other times they just don't work at all. After reading (studying) numerous "Fall Fashion" magazines , way too many fashion sites, blogs, reviews, etc, I know what the trends are (both color and style), which ones are not really imaginable for those of us mortals (not runway supermodels) and, best of all, the trends that we can actually wear!

So, if you would like to get a really good feel for this season's Fashion Trends, check out the Catalog I created called "TRENDS YOU CAN ACTUALLY WEAR". See below for a sampling from the catalog. I do have to add that it is always good to consider your most flattering colors (if you know them) as well as your most flattering styles (if you have a feel for them) before you decide how much of a trend you want to incorporate.
